The Bund, as it is popularly called, is a walkway extending from
Zero Bridge to Badshah Bridge below, along the banks of the
Jhelum River, in
Srinagar.
A stroll beside the lake, enjoying the breeze and the astounding beauty of the surrounding landscape with Doonga houseboats in the backdrop provides a pleasant experience. The General Post Office, the government handicrafts emporium and a string of handicraft shops lies along the Bund.
