The Bhagavanthike




Bhagavanthike is a folk form of Karnataka. It is mainly performed by two groups of 10 to 12 artistes, who involve in humorous conversation. The performers are dressed in fabulous costumes. The main narrator of the group is called the Bhagavata. The group also consists of a clown who sings and dances with other members.
