Thamsar Pass




Thamsar Pass, also known as Thamsar Jot, is situated at an altitude of 4,700 m, located in Palampur, Kangra District. It is situated over the Dhauladhar Mountains, between Kangra District and Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. The pass gives a good view of the mountains and also the Dhauladhar range. Compared to the other passes of Dhauladhar, Thamsar Pass is the highest one. The Bara Bhangal range is at a shorter distance from the Thamsar Pass. The route from Baijnath to Manali is over the Thamsar Pass.
