Tembalai Hill




Tembalai Hill is situated to the east of Karveer Taluk at Kolhapur in Maharashtra. This lofty hill houses the temple of goddess Tryambuli, whose idol is depicted with four hands and is positioned with its back turned to the nearby Mahalakshmi Temple. In the vicinity of the hill lies a beautiful statue of Shivaji Maharaj. Nearby attractions include Shankaracharya Mutt, Rankala Lake and Military Park.

Kolhapur is about 450 km away from Mumbai, on the national highway of Pune and Bangalore. The nearest airport is Ujailwadi airport (10 km).
