Tea Folk’s Jumur Nach




Tea Folk’s Jumur Nach is an attractive dance form developed by the tea tribes of Assam. This synthesized form of dance is also called ‘Chah Baganar Jumur Nach’ or the Jumur dance of tea garden.

The dance is performed by girls and boys together with precision of footwork while tightly clasping each other's waist. This beautiful dance can be seen while visiting any of the tea gardens.
