Tavandi, popularly known as Stavanidhi, is a major Jain site situated about 5 km from Nipani, Belgaum District. This place is famous for numerous ancient Jain temples. Main attraction is the 180 cm high idol of Bhagwan Parshwanath, the 23rd Jain Tirthankar, seated in the Padmasana posture. The temple of Brahmadev with a huge idol is another attraction. Tavandi has separate temples dedicated to Bhagwan Rishabdev (Adinath) and Devi Padmavati. In the month of January on Amavasi day, a fair is arranged at Tavandi, which is attended by hundreds from every nook and corner of the region. By road, Kolhapur is about 45 km from here.
