Taroba National Park




Taroba National Park is located in Chandrapur District of Maharashtra and is about 45 km from Chandrapur and 150 km from Nagpur.

It lies south-west of Kanha National Park and is home to tigers, leopards, sambar deer, wild boars, jackals, gaurs, chital, nilgais, marsh crocodiles and water birds. Teak and bamboo forest and a lake enhance the beauty of the park.

The best time to visit is November to June. Forest rest houses near the lake are available for accommodation.

Sonegaon Airport and Chandrapur Railway Station are the nearest accessible points.
