Tarari




Tarari is a small picturesque settlement in Bhojpur District of Bihar. About 6 km off the National Highway 30, it is 50 km north of Arrah , the district headquarters.

Tarari is close to the western banks of the Son River, a major tributary of the Ganges.

Prominent towns nearby include Pipro (12 km north-west), Sahar (20 km north-east) and Karakat (10 km south-west).

Tarachandi, Aranya Devi Temple and Mundeshvari Stone Temple are the major pilgrim spots nearby. Dehri on Sone and Rohtasgarh Fort are tourist destinations outside the town.

Gaya Airport, located 72 km south-east, is the nearest airport. Arrah Railway Station, on Patna - Buxar rail route, serves this town.
