Tarai

Tarai is a scenic village near Chanderi, in Guna District. Situated about 32 km north-east of Ashoknagar, it is an ideal base for trekkers in this region. Chanderi Fort, Bada Jain Mandir at Chanderi, Singhpur Palace, Ashoknagar Jain Temple and Indore Shiva Temple are the interesting sites in the surroundings. The nearest airport is Bhopal Airport. Ashok Nagar Railway Station serves Tarai.
