Tapobath




Tapobath is a village in Chamoli District, Uttaranchal. The Kunwari Pass trek, one of the best in the Garhwal Mountains, starts from the hilly terrain of Tapobath. Alaknanda River, the main tributary of the River Ganges, flows very close to this village.

Barhgaon, Dhak, Paing and Suki are cities and villages located around Tapobath. Adi Sankara Mandir and Paramapurushan Temple are sacred spots to visit.

The nearest railway station and airport are at Rishikesh and Dehradun respectively.
