Tapasi

The town of Tapasi is located in West Bengal’s Bardhaman District, about 7 km north of Raniganj. Around 17 km west of Tapasi is Asansol. Pandaveswar to the north-east, Barabani to the north-west and Dignala to the south are some of the towns one can visit.

Chittaranjan, Kalyaneshwari Temple, Mithon Dam, Barakar Temples and Vishnu Temple are major religious and tourist destinations worth visiting.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the closest airport. Raniganj Railway Station, on the Howrah - Asansol line of the Eastern Railways, is the nearest railway station.
