Tamboxem




Tamboxem village is situated 26 km from Mapusa town in North Goa District of Goa.

The land is surrounded by hills and valleys. Agriculture is the main occupation of the people here.

Tiracol River located here is a great spot for the anglers. There is a 200-year-old chapel dedicated to St Francis Xavier, where the Holy Eucharist is celebrated once in a month. Brahmani Mandir, a temple dedicated to Brahmani Devi, stands in the midst of a pleasant and calm lush green land facing towards east.
