Talra Sanctuary




Spread over an area of 40 sq km, Talra sanctuary lies in Shimla District.

One of the small sanctuaries in Himachal Pradesh, its inhabitants include goral, musk deer, panther, and black bear.

April to June and August to October are ideal to visit the sanctuary.

The sanctuary is located east of Shimla and is close to the border with Uttaranchal.
