Talikot Battle Memorial is located near
Bagroja in
Ahmednagar District of
Maharashtra.
It was constructed by the Ahmed Nizamshah in memory of the elephant Gulam Ali, who had turned away a near defeat in 1565 AD war with Vijaynagar Empire. This attractive monument is noted for beautiful carvings.
