A natural botanical garden, this sanctuary extends an area of about 337 sq km. Wildlife population include mithun, clouded leopard and Himalayan black bear.

Accommodation is available at the forest bungalows.

Tourists can go 30 km by jeep up to Monipoilang and then take a trekking route of 8 km to reach the sanctuary.
