Talbraksha




Talbraksha is situated on the Sariska-Alwar road in Alwar District of Rajasthan. It is famous for cluster of temples of varying ages. Hot and cold springs with enormous healing capacities are a unique feature of the place.

The Shiva temple built in the typical panchayatna (five houses) pattern can be found. Talbraksha is also cited in the great epic Mahabharata as the place where Arjuna shot into the ground and sprouted the Banganga. A large number of pilgrims visit here.

Talbraksha is about 19 km from Sariska. Frequent buses ply between Sariska and Alwar. Alwar Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
