Talagram




Talagram, also known as Amer-Kapa Gram, is located on the banks of the Maniyari River, in Bilaspur District of Chhattisgarh. It is about 25 km from Bilaspur on the Bhojpur-Dagori Road.

Noteworthy among the landmarks are fifth century shrines, namely, Jethani and Devrani temples. One of the temples enshrines an idol of Lord Shiva which is about 7 ft high and 4 ft wide. A large number of devotees gather here to pay their homage to the lord.

Talagram has good road communication. The nearest airport is at Raipur and the nearest railhead is at Bilaspur.
