Takwa

Takwa is situated on the Wadgaon-Nethersole Dam route, in Pune District. It lies 10 km north-east of Wadgaon and around 20 km south of Ghatori. Pune - the district headquarters – is 42 km south-east.

The hills stations of Kamshet, Khandala and Lonavala are easy reach from Takwa. Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary, Nethersole Dam and Karla Caves are some of the other tourist options available nearby.

Pune Lohegaon Airport and Wadgaon Railway Station serve Takwa.
