Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib




Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib is a highly revered Sikh shrine, situated in Nanded, Maharashtra. It is one of the four high seats of authority of the Sikhs. It is the place where Guru Gobind Singh held his court and congregation here.

The gurdwara was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the great ruler of Punjab, in between 1830 to 1839. It preserves the mortal remains of the Guru Gobind Singh and exhibits numerous weapons including the swords of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and other Sikh generals. Some weapons of Guru Gobind Singh can also be found here.

Baisakhi, Holi, Dussehra is celebrated here amidst much pomp and splendor.
