Taj Bawdi is a great water tank located just a kilometer from Bijapur, Karnataka. The tank was built in memory of Taj Sultana, the first wife of Ibrahim II. The front of the tank is a magnificent arch flanked by 2 octagonal towers. The east and west wings of the towers form spacious rest houses.
