Tabu




Tabu lies in the southern region of the Lahaul and Spiti District in Himachal Pradesh. This charming town is around 8 km south-east of Khar and about 5 km west of Sangam, a beautiful village situated at an elevation of around 3,680 m. Rekong Peo, the headquarters of Kinnaur District, is around 70 km to the south. Pin Parvati Pass trekking route passes close by. Dhankar Lake, Dhankar Fort, Pin Valley Park, Kibber Sanctuary, Chinpatta Maidan, Kye Monastery and Bara Shigri Glacier are easily accessible from here. The nearest airport is Kullu Manali Airport and the closest railway station is Shimla Railway Station.
