Swarnajaleshwar Temple

Situated near the Kotitirtha tank, 5 km from the city center, Swarnajaleshwar Temple is a fine replica of the Parasurameshwara Temple at Bhubaneswar. This temple in a dilapidated stage now, has an image of Gajalakshmi with the architrave above showing the icons of the navagrahas. The friezes on the northern side illustrate the marriage of Shiva with Parvati, the flying figures, and the ritual shivling worship.
