Swargarohana is a large and deep rock-cut reservoir situated at Kalinjar in
Banda District of
Uttar Pradesh. It lies just outside the
Neelkanth Temple situated within the Kalinjar Fort. To the right of this reservoir, there are colossal and stunning figures of
Kala-Bhairava and goddess
Kali. It is an important tourist destination which attracts pilgrims and visitors alike.
The nearest railway station is Atarra (36 km) on the Banda -Satna route, about 57 km from Banda Station. Civil Airport Khajuraho (130 km) serves this area.
