Swadi

Sode



Swadi is a picturesque village situated in Karwar District of Karnataka, about 22 km from Sirsi. It is a scenic village covered with thick forests, rivers and mountains. This village is famous for a Jain shrine called Swadi Jain Temple, devoted to Bhagvan Rishabdev. In the vicinity of the village lies a forest where Sri Vadiraja Tirtha used to meditate. Swadi is also known as Sode or Sonda.
