Suvarna Bihara, also known as Maha-Varanasi, is a sacred place located at
Godrumadvipa, one among the nine islands in
Navadvipa. It is also known as Suvarna Vihar.
During the Satya-yuga, it was a site of the palace of King Suvarna Sena. It now holds the Suvarna Bihari Gaudiya Math. Some ancient walls are seen in the mango orchard near this temple. Hari-Hara Ksetra is located nearby.
