Suthari Teerth




Suthari Teerth is one of the five sacred Jain temples at Suthari in Abdasa taluk, Kutch District, Gujarat. Shri Gritakallol Parshwanath Bhagvan is the deity, in the Padmasana posture, white in color and about 30 cm tall. This idol was consecrated in 1895. Numerous legends are associated with this Bhagvan. 100 m from the temple is a dharamshala or charity house where hundreds of pilgrims have food every year. The temple is accessible by buses and cabs from the railway stations at Bhuj (86 km) and Gandhidham (161 km). Kothara is 11 km and Mandavi Teerth is 64 km from here.
