Suraj Kund Mandir in
Kangra District of
Himachal Pradesh is a shrine dedicated to
Lord Shiva, though scholars believe that originally it was a temple dedicated to
Surya, the Sun God. The main tank at Suraj Kund Mandir is called Suraj Kund. Three smaller tanks named Ram Kund, Sita Kund and Lakshman Kund are nearby.
