Sultanpet is a scenic hamlet in
Kolar District of
Karnataka. It lies at the foot of
Nandi Hills and is about 6 km from Nandi.
A British regiment was stationed here on the hill of Nandidurga with its headquarters at Nandi. There is a long set of stairs leading from Sultanpet to the top of this hill. The village also houses an old British cemetery.
