Sula Vineyard, based in
Nasik, has established a reputation of crafting India's finest white wines. The physical surroundings of the vineyards are beautiful with wooded hills on three sides, sloping down to the Gangapur Lake.
The 670,000 liter winery facilities have stainless steel tanks with chilling jackets, perfect for sub-tropical winemaking. The buildings are typical of Western Maharashtra, akin to Spanish architecture, whitewashed and with sloping red tile roofs.
Sula specializes in sparkling, roses and dessert wines. Takara Sake and Taylor’s Port are among the specialty wines.
