Subramanyar Temple is located at Vallakkottai near Chingleput in
Chennai District. It is an ancient temple and the main deity is
Lord Muruga. The lord is seen along with his consorts Valli and Devayani. The main festival times are the
Skanda Shashti celebrated in the month of Aippasi (mid October - mid November) and Kartikai Deepam in the month of Kartikai (mid November - mid December).
