Kolkata, Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management (SBIHM) offers three year diploma in Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition and three year bachelor degree in Hotel Management. Students are given a 22-week training in 5-star and deluxe hotels before placements.
Training kitchens, bakery, restaurant, model room for house-keeping practice with latest cleaning gears and front office training desk for in-house practical training are there inside the campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Also, students take part in sport activities. Educational excursion tours are compulsory. The institute organizes its own fest called 'Acocalypse' to which corporate executives and leaders of the society are invited. An annual food festival is also organized.
