Stonecutter's Mosque




Stonecutter's Mosque is situated inside the Friday Mosque complex in Fatehpur Sikri, Agra District. It is dedicated to Shaikh Salim, the famous Sufi saint of the Chisti order. The mosque was constructed in the 16th century and is regarded as the first significant building on the ridge. Fatehpur Sikri is about 60 km from Mathura and 40 km from Agra. Agra Civil Enclaves is the nearest airport. Agra Fort Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
