State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (SIPARD), an autonomous training institute started functioning in 1993. It is located near Camper Bazaar at Arundhuti Nagar, about 15 km from the main town of
Agartala,
Tripura. Training programs in public administration, rural development, gender studies, social development and information technology are offered to the state government officials, representatives of PRI’s and members of non governmental organizations.
