State Highway 5




State Highway 5 connects Kayamkulam on National Highway 47 with Pathanapuram, in Kerala. The highway has a total length of 42.5 km and is spanned across the districts of Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta and Kollam. State Highway 5 starts at Kayamkulam and runs eastwards through Vettikkod, Kattanam and Nooranad to enter Pathanamthitta District past Adukkattukulangara. In Pathanamthitta, the State Highway 5 touches Adoor on M C Road, and runs south-east past Parakod to enter Alappuzha District and eventually joins Main Eastern Highway (State Highway 8) at Pulimukku junction near Pathanapuram. Pathanapuram is 13 km north-west of Punalur.
