St Mary's Church, situated at
Meenangadi in
Wayanad District, is one of the biggest churches of Malankara.
This Syrian Orthodox Church was built in 1958 and Rev Fr Athunkal Geevarghese Corepiscopa was the vicar of the church till 1987. The late Mor Philexinos Samuel, the metropolitan of the Malabar Diocese, was consecrated by H.B Mor Baselius Paulose II in this church.
