St George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Cathedral at Karingachira, originally known as St George Jacobite Syrian Church, is 2 km east of
Tripunithura and is west of
Hill Palace Museum. The church belongs to the Syrian Orthodox Church under the Patriarch of Antioch.
Established in 722, it is in the Diocese of Cochin. Festivals celebrated here are St George Perunal, Thamukku Perunal, St Gregorious Parumala Perunal, Dhukhrono Perunal, Sliba Perunal and Vangipoo Perunal.
