St George's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church is situated at Nedumbassery, about 5 km away from the
Cochin International Airport,
Kerala. Consecrated in 1949, the church is dedicated to Mor Gewargis Sahdo (St George.) With five altars and a separate office building, it serves about 250 member families. Apart from worship services, prayer meetings and various other services are organized. Established by late Metropolitan H.G. Mor Gregorius Gheevarghese Vayaliparambil, St. George's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church runs an English medium school. An auditorium is built in the premises that bears the name of Mor Gregorius.
