Located in
South Tripura District, Srinagar is in the western side of Satchand block, close to Indo-Bangla border. Krishna Nagar lies to the north,
Dasarath Nagar to the east and Dakshin Srinagar to the south.
There is a junior basic school and a high school at Srinagar. Paddy and potato are the crops grown in this region. Pilak, known for excavated sites, and Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary are the nearest tourist destinations.
Srinagar can be reached from Belonia, Manu Bazar and Sabroom. Udaipur, 60 km north, is the nearest major town and the district headquarters.
