Srilanka Malleswara Sanctuary




Srilanka Malleswara Sanctuary is about 15 km from Cuddapah. Spread over an area of about 464 sq km, the sanctuary is the home for Jerdon's courser, spotted deer, sambar, wild boar, fox, sloth bear and panther. The forest is of dry deciduous mixed type with deep gorges and steep slopes with waterfalls.

Best time to visit is from October to March. Accommodation is available at the forest guesthouse of Siddavatam in Cuddapah District. The nearest railway station is at Cuddapah.
