Sri Venkateswara College was founded under the patronage of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Trust. The college offers under graduate and post graduate courses in Arts, Science and Commerce. Certificate and Diploma courses in
Sanskrit and German are also offered.
Sri Venkateswara College has about 2,200 students and 231 staff. The college boasts a well-equipped library working on open access system and containing over 75,000 books, 50 periodicals and 10 newspapers. The College Athletic Association arranges a wide range of indoor and outdoor games. The college provides financial aid to deserving students. In addition to the College Magazine, the college publishes nine different wall magazines carrying articles, paintings, photographs and cartoons.
