Sri Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha




Sri Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha (STBGS) is a registered cultural organization established in 1944 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It aims to promote talented young musicians by providing better platforms and appreciative audience.

The main building of STBGS is called Vani Mahal, which is a meeting place for the connoisseurs of fine arts in south Chennai. Vani Mahal has three main halls. Obul Reddy Hall is a mini air-conditioned hall where Bahula Panchami Day is celebrated. Isai-Iyal Nataka Vizha is a three weeks annual concert held during winter (December-January.) Bharatam Festival is celebrated after the Isai Vizha.

A drama wing functions under the control of the sabha. Chennai International Airport is the nearest airport. Chennai Central Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
