Sri Subramania Swamy Temple




Sri Subramania Swamy Temple is located at Lakshminarayana Puram in Palakkad District. The temple dates back to 100 years. The presiding deity is Lord Muruga in the Naga form, a powerful symbol of purity and strength.

Folklore has that the temple was built by a family in the village to redeem from some sin committed by a member. It is also said that those who worship the deity will be relieved from sins and can lead a peaceful and prosperous life. The other deities of the temple are Shastha (Lord Ayyappa) and Lord Ganesh.

Buses ply from Palakkad Bus Station to Lakshminarayana Puram.
