Sri Siddivinayaka Temple




Sri Siddivinayaka Temple is situated on the banks of the Swarna River in Udupi District of Karnataka. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Ganesh.

The idol was formerly kept along with the idol of Ganesh at Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple. In January 1996, the present temple was constructed. It is fully made up of granite stone. An idol of Naga, the God of snakes, is also present in the temple.

Many celebrations are conducted to worship the deity. On the day of Sankashta Chaturthi, many people gather here to celebrate the 'gana homa.' Trikal Pooja is also organized.

The temple is located at Krishnangaraka Chaturdashi Snana Ghat near Shivalli Shimbra, which is on the way from Manipal to Kallianpur.
