Sri Ramapur Chatara is a place associated with the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sect. Located near
Kolkata, it is a religious place where Sri Kasisvara Pandita, a close associate of
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, lived.
This village houses two temples, both about 3 km away from the railway station, with the deities Radha-Govinda and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu respectively. Jagannatha Temple is an added attraction.
