Sri Ramakrishna Math



Sri Ramakrishna Math is located at Mylapore. (Math is also spelt mutt.) The mutt was started by Swami Ramakrishnananda, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna. The mutt, which dates back to over 100 years, is engaged in spiritual, mental and physical services and other activities. Holy souls such as Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Brahmananda are associated with this mutt. Swami Shivananda, Mahapurush Maharaj and Swami Vijnanananda have visited this place.
