Sri Pushpavalli Smedha Ashtabuja Swami Temple




Sri Pushpavalli Samedha Ashtabuja Swami Temple, one of the 108 holy places (divya desams) of the Vaishnavites, is located at Kanchipuram. The deity is also known by the names Adikesava Perumal, Ashtabhujakaran, Ashtabhujanga Swami, Chakradharar and Ganedra Varadan. The Lord has eight arms (ashtabhuja) carrying bow and arrow, sword, shield and cudgel, a lotus, conch shell and chakram. The temple has a three-tier rajagopuram with a single prakaram. There are separate shrines for Lord Andal, Anjaneya, Bhuvarahan and Peyazhwar.

The nearest airport is Chennai International Airport and Kanchipuram Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
