Sri Mahaganapathy Temple is a major temple located at Thiruvangoor in
Kozhikode. Dedicated to
Lord Ganesh, this temple is noted for an annual festival called
Shivratri Utsavam. The festival, which lasts for two days, attracts a large number of devotees from every nook and corner of the region. During the festival, the traditional art forms of
Kerala are performed on all nights.
Theyyam, the ritual festival, is organized on the second day.
