Sri Lakshmi Nath Museum of Arts and Religion




Sri Lakshmi Nath Museum of Arts and Religion is a newly opened museum located at Chamba. The museum is subdivided into many sections that display various artifacts related to various Hindu Gods and Goddesses.

The exhibits include water vessels, spoons, silver tumbler, water sprinkler, finely sculpted candle holder, incense holder/burner, silver cups, for sandal wood paste, saffron powder, vermilion, hand bells of various sizes, bells with inscription in Takri, trishl in silver, conch-shells, partly damaged idols, sleeping bed (cot) of silver for the Lord Vishnu, silver sandals, S-shaped ran-singhas, brass flutes, damru, dhol-nagara drum, cymbals, karnal and musical instruments. In addition to the above the museum also displays a fine specimen of textiles, gold/silver threaded shawls and dhotis.
