Sri Krishna Gana Sabha is located at
T Nagar in
Chennai. It was started in 1954 by Maharajapuram Santhanam. Various music concerts are organized by the sabha. The Natyakala is a conference on dance conducted by the Sabha. It also celebrates three festivals namely, Gokulashtami Sangeetha Utsavam, December Annual Series and Dance Festival in April. Every year a renowned dancer is bestowed with the title Nritya Choodamani. It also provides training in music, dance, veena, and mridangam. The sabha also conducts religious discourse programs.
