Sri Kodandaramar Temple lies at Vaduvur in
Thanjavur District.
Lord Ram is the main deity who is seen along with
Sita,
Lakshman and
Lord Hanuman.
The Lord appears in Thirukalyana kolam and another special aspect is that utsava idol (procession idol) also appears in the same state. There are beautiful turrets over the sanctums of Sri Kodandaramar and Sri Gopalan. A 61 ft five-tier rajagopuram is seen here. Daily pujas such as Viswaroopam, followed by Thiruvandhal, Kalasandhi, Uchikalam, Thirumaalai, Irakkalam and Arthajamam are performed here.
